Meet the Grick
Hidden in the cracks of the world, lurking in chasms, ruins, and the unlit passages beneath the earth, the Grick is a horror born from silence. Known throughout Forgotten Realms lore, classic D&D bestiaries, and the Open5e SRD, Gricks are serpentine monstrosities with rubbery bodies, segmented musculature, and a flower-like maw of hooked tentacles ready to seize prey.
These creatures blend perfectly into stone, clinging to cavern walls or coiled within piles of rubble. Their hunting tactic is simple and horrifying: remain motionless until prey steps too close… and then strike with blinding speed. The tentacles latch on, the beak clamps down, and the victim is dragged into the dark.
The Grick Alpha, larger and more aggressive, often leads broods deep in the Underdark. Its size and dominance make it a perfect mid-level boss or elite encounter—sent by an aberrant master, or ruling its own brood with primal ferocity.
Yasashii Kyojin Studio captures this monstrosity with stunning anatomical depth. From the ridged musculature to the wet, clawed tentacles, each sculpt feels alive—like it could slip from the table and disappear into the cracks of your gaming room.

From the Crafty Llama Tables
The cavern falls silent.
Your boots crunch against gravel as your party advances into the ancient stone walkway. The air grows tight—too still, too heavy. Something feels wrong.
A faint scrape echoes above you.
Then… movement.
A tendril unfurls from the shadows. Then another.
The Grick Alpha descends, its tentacles blooming outward in a grotesque display as its beak snaps hungrily.
Before anyone can breathe, a second Grick slithers from beneath a boulder—silent, swift, and camouflaged perfectly.
Two shapes.
Two threats.
No warning.
The cavern becomes a battlefield as the predators strike in unison.
This miniature set allows you to stage terrifying ambush scenes exactly like this—moments players never forget.
