The Mycelids are mushroom-based forest folk who could be druids, shamans, tricksters, or even plant-based familiars. Each sculpt is delightfully unique:

• A wise elder with a tall wizard-like cap and mossy beard

• A porous, latticed spore-walker with honeycomb limbs

• A spiny, beetle-like myco-critter with coral growths

• A towering, bark-covered stalk creature with blooming fungal ridges

In one of our favourite sessions, the party entered a cursed grove that was slowly being reclaimed by an ancient fungal intelligence. These Mycelids weren’t hostile at first—in fact, one offered them glowing berries, another giggled silently and disappeared into a puff of spores. But when the wizard tried to pocket a chunk of rare mycelium… the forest came alive.

The Mycelids multiplied, merged, and suddenly weren’t so friendly.

What began as a curious little roleplay scene turned into a vivid, unforgettable encounter. And yes—these were the minis we used.
