Once rumored to have had their own ancient civilization, Quaggoths now live in violent tribes scattered throughout subterranean caverns. Many are enslaved by darker powers of the Underdark, particularly the cruel drow, who use them as shock troops and hunters.

But make no mistake.

A Quaggoth is no mindless beast.

They are cunning predators who stalk tunnels and cavern systems with terrifying patience. When they strike, it is sudden and overwhelming — claws tearing through armor while crude stone weapons crash down with bone-breaking force.
